THREE STAGES OF MEMBERSHIP:

GUEST OF THE CLUB
To attend a club meeting or a closed event, you must be invited by a Rotaractor. Upon attending your first meeting, you are considered a guest of the club.
Privileges & Expectations of a Guest
As a guest of the club, you will enjoy several privileges: - Project and Activity Invites: You will be informed of and invited to club projects, meetings, and activities, though this may exclude closed club events such as club assemblies. As a guest, you are expected to: 1. Adhere to Club Etiquette: Respect the club's rules and the hosting environment during meetings and events. 2. Engage Positively: Participate in discussions and activities, demonstrating a genuine interest in the club's mission. Note that as a guest, you will not be subject to any fines or penalties. Any penalties will be incurred by your sponsoring (inviting) Rotaractor.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBER
Upon attending three consecutive statutory meetings, you are deemed a prospective member of the club.
Privileges & Expectations of a Prospective Member
As a prospective member, you will enjoy several privileges within the club: - Project and Activity Invites: You will be informed of and invited to all club projects, meetings, and activities. - Committee Membership: You will become a member of a committee responsible for one of the five arms of service of the club, allowing you to contribute to meaningful service projects. - Project Planning Involvement: You will have the opportunity to participate in the planning and execution of a club project, typically led by a group of prospective members. Expectations for Prospective Members: 1. Maintain Status: To maintain your status and progress toward becoming a pinned member, prospective members are expected to: 2. Attendance: Continue to attend statutory meetings regularly and participate actively in club activities. 3. Committee Participation: Actively participate and contribute to the committee to which you are assigned. 4. Project Planning: Engage in the planning and execution of a club project, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills. 5. Adherence to Club Regulations: Follow club rules and may be subject to fines as part of club regulations. Meeting these expectations demonstrates your commitment to the club's mission and prepares you for full membership.

ROTARACTOR
A Rotaractor is a member inducted under the oath of Rotary International. To be inducted, one must :

Maintain at least 60% attendance rate at club meetings and events.

Perform satisfactorily under a project led by Prospective Members.

Successfully complete an interview conducted by the Board of Directors.
Privileges & Expectations of a Pinned Member
Once inducted, a pinned member enjoys several privileges within the club: - Voting rights: Hold voting rights in club decisions. - Eligibility for Office: Can be selected as a member of the governing board. - Membership Pin: Receive an official membership pin. Ongoing Membership Expectations: 1. Maintain Status: To maintain active membership status, the following expectations must be met: 2. Attendance Rate: Maintain a 75% attendance rate at projects and statutory meetings. Members must not be absent for more than two consecutive statutory meetings. On the third consecutive absence, a member will be deemed inactive. 3. Annual Dues: Pay annual dues, which cover fixed expenses and district membership dues. Meeting these expectations ensures that members remain active and can continue to enjoy the privileges associated with being part of the Rotaract Club of Georgetown Central.
