OUR CLUB HISTORY

The Rotaract Club of Georgetown Central was chartered on April 24th 1993. The first meeting was held at BIDCO house in Queenstown, Georgetown.

The Charter President was Leslie Ann Simpson and the founding Rotarians were then President Mike Davis, Rotarian Mark Bender and Rotarian Ivor O'Brian. The club was, and still is, proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Georgetown Central.

Today, we continue to honor the legacy of service established by our predecessors and the youth empowerment and community development they fostered from 1993 to the present. We are committed to furthering that legacy as we continue to grow and serve.

WHAT WE DO

OUR PARENT CLUB & SIBLING CLUBS

The Rotary Club of Georgetown Central still serves as our guiding and supportive sponsor or parent club. This dynamic relationship fosters mentorship, collaboration, and alignment with the broader Rotary mission of "Service Above Self."

Rotary GC also extended its influence by sponsoring and chartering the
Interact Clubs of Queen's College (QC) and The Bishops' High School (BHS). These partnerships have cultivated a vibrant ecosystem of service, leadership, and fellowship across generations.

Together, our clubs work on joint projects, mentorship programs, and events that unite members in addressing community needs, promoting youth development, and strengthening ties within the Rotary family.
